When I started making bars, people thought bars were soap. I wanted to get rid of that stigma. Bar soap is drying and stripping and incredibly irritating to the skin, so it was exciting to show people that a bar could be a cleanser without being a soap. And you still get all the benefits of a bar—easy to have around, less plastic packaging, super-easy to travel with.
